Resumen:
La teoría de cambio ha sido un fértil campo de investigación desde principios de los años 80, a partir de los trabajos pioneros de Isaac Levi [Lev67] y los de Carlos Alchourrón, Peter Cárdenfors y David Makinson conocidos como modelo AGM [AM82, Gar82, AGM85]. El tiempo y esfuerzo dedicado a estas investigaciones ha resultado en una amplia gama de posibles modelos formales de representación de la dinámica de cambio de creencias. El objetivo de esta tesis es adaptar el modelo de Fermé y Hansson Shielded Contraction [FH99b] y Hansson & all Credibility-Limited Revision [HFCF98] para bases de creencias, para de esta forma congeniar dos de las muchas variaciones del modelo AGM, esto es aquellas en las que se decidió representar el conocimiento mediante bases de creencias en lugar de teorías lógicas, y aquellas en las que se decidió no dar a los impulsos externos que disparan el cambio, la total prioridad sobre la información ya disponible que establece el modelo AGM.
Abstract:
The logic of theory change has been a fertile investigation field since beginning of the 80's, following the pioneer works of Isaac Levi [Lev67] and those from Carlos Alchourrón, Peter Oárdenfors and David Makinson [AM82, Gar82, AGM85] known as the AGM model. The time and effort devoted to these researchers have resulted in a wide gamma of formal models representing the dynamics of belief change. The goal of this thesis is to adapt the Fermé and Hansson model of Shielded Contraction [FH99b] as well as Hansson & all Credibility-Limited Revision [HFCF98] for belief bases, to join two of the many variations of the AGM model, i.e. those in which the knowledge is represented through belief bases instead of logic theories, and those in which the object of the epistemic change does not get the priority over the existing information as it is the case in the AGM model.
