Abstract:
Electroporation is widely used in biological, medical and biotechnological applications, water treatment and food industry. A pulse generator for electroporation in research environment was develop and implemented, its fundamental blocks are a Boost with autotransformer converter and an H bridge with pulse control. The main design calculations and simulations are presented. The results of the built prototype are shown with a pulse amplitude variable between 150V and 1000 V, a pulse width variable between 10 μs and 80 ms and a repetition frequency variable between 1 Hz and 5 kHz. © 2018 Argentine Association of Automatic Control.
