Abstract:

By considering the integral representation of Liouville five-point function, and considering the four-point functions for sl(2)k admissible representations as the staring point, we propose an analytic continuation of these correlators and rederive the generic structure contants of the SL(2,ℝ)k WZNW theory. The analytic continuation we consider here employs standard tricks to adapt the Coulomb gas prescription to the case of non-rational conformal field theory, and it is shown to lead to the exact result. The structure constants we rederive here have direct application in string theory as these describe scattering amplitudes in AdS3 space and in the 2D black hole background.
