Abstract:

A highly efficient and selective material for electrocatalytic hydrogenation has been prepared by depositing monodisperse palladium nanoparticles of size (6±1) nm by electrochemical reduction of PdCl 42- confined in a polyelectrolyte multilayer film. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
