Abstract:

The title ternary complex has been prepared and its structure determined using X-ray crystallography. The complex crystallizes in triclinic space group P-1 with a = 6.745(5), b = 10.551(5), c = 11.414(5) Å , α = 95.770(5), β = 91.396(5), γ = 92.518(5)°, V = 807.1 Å 3 and Z = 2. The structural data are consistent with the presence of Jahn-Teller distortion in the overall hexacoordinate octahedral geometry of the molecule. The crystal packing is through an extensive hydrogen bonding and ring-ring π-π interactions resulting in a supramolecular framework. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2012.
