Abstract:
The development of a method for modeling decoherence on a quantum-information processor (QIP) was discussed in the article. The effectiveness of methodology was shown in the case of one- and two-spin environments, using analytical solutions, numerical simulations and a physical implementation on a nuclear magnetic resonance QIP. The use of stochastic kick rates on the quantum environment for controlling system decoherence rates and recurrence times was shown by these methods.
