Abstract:
Calculations of the intensity of the Zener relaxation strength in b.c.c. and f.c.c. alloys are presented. Welch and Le Claire theory for the relaxation strength of shear modulus in f.c.c. alloys is extended to include the relaxation of Young's and bulk modulus. A complete set of equations is given to be used for calculation of the relaxation strength of all the moduli in b.c.c. alloys. Finally, some applications to experimental data in both alloys systems are presented. © 1993.
