It is known that computers provide opportunities for individualized learning. But cognitive psychology also acknowledges the importance of social aspect in learning, and it is also noteworthy that at the heart of real life is working with people. In the computer classroom, we are using programs designed for individual work in a cooperative environment. Thus students supporting each other make use of multiple strategies that improves their work and leads them to higher quality products. Even more important, however, is the fact that this activity resulted in the promotion of successful socialization outcomes, contributing to changes in self-esteem and liking of school.
