Abstract:
13C NMR spectra for sixteen 20‐hydroxy‐23‐norcholanoic acid derivatives have been obtained and individual resonances assigned. The different chemical shifts due to preferred conformers depending on the C‐20 configuration are rationalized in terms of steric interactions using model compounds.
