Abstract:

C NMR spectral data of 3,6-dideoxy-, 3, 4, 6-trideoxyhexo-pyranoses and 3,6-dideoxyhexofuranoses, obtained from L-rhamnono-1, 5-lactone are presented. Shifts induced on the ring carbons by C-l acylation are analyzed for each pair of anomers. © 1986, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
