Abstract:
The problem of vacuum polarization in the gravitational field of a multidimensional black hole is considered. The representation for the Feynman propagator for a massless scalar field in such a spacetime is obtained. For the particular case of a five-dimensional black hole the explicit expression for 2ren at the horizon is found. © 1989 The American Physical Society.
