Abstract:
The analysis of the proton fragmentation spectra in proton + nucleus → particle + anything yields a factorized dependence on the mass of the nucleus, A, approximately of the form A0.5. This is contrasted with a factorized A0.8 dependence in σtot (p + nucleus) and A0.26 dependence in nucleus + nucleus → particle + anything found by other authors. © 1973.
