Abstract:

Sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for the mean curvature equation were deduced. The Dirichlet boundary data for a vector function satisfying the equation was considered. A family of functions were proposed for a given general function to analyze the solutions. The problem was based on the generalized Plateau problem.
