Abstract:

Quade (1972,1979) proposed a family of nonparametric tests based on a method of weighted within-block rankings, for testing the hypothesis of no treatment effects in a complete randomized blocks layout. In this paper we obtain an expression for the Pitman asymptotic relative efficiency of these tests with respect to the Fried man test. © 1986, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
