Abstract:
Between 5 and 12 years after treatment with the combined therapy of repeated phlebotomies (6-7) and low dosis of chloroquine (2 x 150 mg weekly, for about 5 months) of 3 patients with hereditary PCT and 5 with acquired PCT, who were periodically controlled, it has been confirmed complete clinical and biochemical remission without relapse.
