Abstract:
Highly enhanced electrical conductivity profiles have been obtained from previous MT soundings in the geothermal area of the eastern border of the Andes at the Tucuman Province in the north of Argentina. These results are associated with geothermal gradients three or four times the normal ones, these characteristics being due to the presence of hot springs and aquiferous hyperthermal layers. -from Authors
