Abstract:

25-Hydroperoxycycloart-23-en-3β-ol [1] and an epimeric mixture of 24- hydroperoxycycloart-25-en-3β-ol [2] have been isolated from Tillandsia recurvata. The structures of compounds 1 and 2 have been established by spectral analysis and chemical conversion to the corresponding diols. © 1995, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
