Abstract:

One of the main conclusions that Peter Alexander states in the last paragraph of his article (Eos, October 13, 1992, p. 433) is: “It is also desirable to find an appropriate description of the electron heat conductivity for the distant collisionless solar wind because the classical Spitzer‐Harm conductivity represents an inadequate expression for that fluid.” ©1993.
