Abstract:

- Actually the iteration of (14) starting with the correct f1(z) = δ(z) converges only if the f's are considered as distributions (generalized functions). The discussion in appendix I, reference 4, is related to this property. We avoid such subtleties by requiring the iteration procedure to start with smooth functions. Nothing of physical interest is lost by this simplification
