Abstract:
The generalizations of the Jaynes-Cummings model involving the interaction of an ensemble of SU(2) or SU(1,1) quasispins with a single boson field were discussed. The SU(2) models describe fermions pairs and their coupling to a bosonic mode and SU(1,1) model describe the corresponding physics of bosonic pairs. It was found that the models were exactly solvable for fermionic and bosonic atoms interacting with dimers. The results show that the application to systems of fermionic atoms and molecular dimers was of special interest due to the generation of ultrasound molecular BECs from the conversion of 40K and 6Li fermionic atoms.
