Abstract:
The mass spectra of fourteen 1,1‐bis(acylamido)‐1‐deoxyalditol acetates and of two model compounds have been recorded. The most important feature of the fragmentation of these derivatives is the cleavage of the C–1–C–2 bond which produces fragment (Formula Presented.) None of the alditol derivatives yields the molecular ion. Copyright © 1979 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
