Abstract:

We calculate the complete diffraction integral - taking into account the temporal envelope variation - for the propagation and focalization of ultrashort gaussian optical pulses with initially-factorized spatial and temporal structures. We also show the influence of the temporal envelope variation on the pulse's intensity profile.
