Abstract:
This paper gives the theoretically predicted water activity (aw) values of MgCl2 CoCl2, SrCl2, NH4Cl, KBr and CuSO4 saturated salt solutions at 25°C. The predicted values are 0.330, 0.633, 0.712, 0.772, 0.809 and 0.969, respectively. These salts slurries, for which other theoretical water activity values have already been predicted and published, cover the aw range between 0.33-0.97. ©1996 Academic Press Limited.
