Abstract:
A uniformly convergent series expansion, valid in the high-frequency range, is derived for the intensity component which is polarised normal to the direction of electron incidence. Expressions are suitable for numerical calculation. Tables of total intensity and polarisation components are given for electron energies U between 0.001Z2 and 50Z2 (keV), and photon energies between 0.95U and U.
