Abstract:

Acute hyperandrogenism decreases serum P levels and induces early apoptosis of antral follicles by a mechanism mediated by the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma system and independent of the steroidogenic acute regulator protein. © 2011 American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Published by Elsevier Inc.
