Durante el período comprendido entre febrero de 1984 y febrero de 1985 se recogieron 262 bolos de regurgitación, los cuales contenían un total de 496 presas. La composición de la dieta fue: Cricetidae 42,5%, Muridae 31,3%, Aves 19,5%, Caviidae 2,6%, Mamíferos no determinados 2,4% y Chiroptera 1,4%. No hubo variaciones estacionales ignificativas en la dieta.
Diet of Bam Owl (Tyto alba) in Córdoba, Argentina. From February 1984 to February 1985 a total of 262 pellets were collected, which containcd 496 prey items. The components of the diet were: Cricetidae 42,5%, Muridae 31,3%, Birds 19,5%, Caviidae 2,6%, Marnmalian indeterminate 2,4% and Chiroptcra 1,4%. There were no significative seasonal variations in diet.
