In this paper I describe and study the differences between the juvenal plumag0e of some individuals of Buteo nitidus and that of some of Buteo l1radvyurus. I show also the differences between the relation of the length of the wing/tail in those species. I desscribe the differences of coloration and size between R. v. culminlltus and R. v. pintoi and the geographical distrihution in the State of Pará, Brazil, of R. v. ariel , R. v. culminatus , R. v. pintoi , R. v. theresae . All the birds studied were collected in Bazil.
