Resumen:

Se describe el desarrollo de un interferómetro capaz de medir vibraciones sin contacto. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran su capacidad para medir desplazamientos micrómetricos y/o nanómetricos, sin la necesidad de estabilizar el láser. Si bien existen múltiples técnicas para llevar a cabo este objetivo, en este caso se utiliza una técnica cuya principal virtud es el bajo conteo de componentes y la capacidad de auto-alinearse. La técnica que describimos se basa en el efecto que produce la realimentación óptica en un diodo láser y la utilización de referencias internas para el calibrado

Abstract:

We present the development of an interferometer capable of making contactless measurements of vibrations. The results show the we achieve micro- and/or nano-metric measurements without the stabilization of the laser. While there are multiple techniques to achieve this objective, in this case we use a method whose main virtue is the low component count and the self-alignment capacity. The method is based on the optical feedback effect in a laser diode which relies on the use of an internal reference for calibration
