Resumen:

Este trabajo presenta un primer estudio fotométrico de la carga aerosólica en la zona noroeste del conurbano bonaerense, específicamente en el campus de la Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento (UNGS) en Los Polvorines. Para tal fin, se utilizaron un año de mediciones manuales con fotómetro solar y se corroboraron los cálculos de espesor óptico de aerosoles (AOD) a partir de la ley de Lambert-Beer. Los resultados del histograma de AOD a 465 nm y del coeficiente de Angstrom en función del AOD son afines a las características de la zona de estudio, con una atmósfera limpia y aerosoles categorizados en los grupos “continental limpio” y “promedio”

Abstract:

This paper presents a first photometric study of the aerosol charge in the northwest of Great Buenos Aires area, specifically on the campus of the National University of General Sarmiento (UNGS) in Los Polvorines. For this purpose, one year of manual measurements with a solar photometer has been used and the aerosol optical depth (AOD) calculations were corroborated with the Lambert-Beer law. The results of the AOD histogram at 465 nm and the Ångstrom coefficient vs AOD are related to the study area characteristics, with a clean atmosphere and aerosols categorized in the“clean continental” and “average” groups
