Resumen:

Las teorías efectivas que resultan al compactificar con flujos de campos antisimétricos las teorías de cuerdas son supergravedades gaugeadas donde los parámetros de gauge se corresponden con los flujos cuantizados. Estos parámetros tienen que satisfacer ciertos vínculos de consistencia. Analizamos el ansatz propuesto en la referencia (2) para resolver estos vínculos, cuando se consideran nuevas restricciones sobre los gaugings asociadas al embedding del modelo en supergravedad N=8. Mostramos que si bien es posible generar soluciones con este método usando la propiedad de factorización de las álgebras de Lie semisimples, los gaugings obtenidos caen dentro de la zona de exclusión para estabilizar módulos

Abstract:

Flux compactification of string supergravities leads to gauged supergravities where the gauge parameters correspond to the quantized fluxes. These parameters must satisfy certain consistency constraints. We analyze the ansatz proposed in reference (2) to solve these constraints, when extra restrictions are considered on the gaugings, associated to the embedding of the model into N=8 supergravity. We show that although it is possible to generate solutions with this method using the factorization property of semisimple algebras, the gaugings obtained fall into an exclusion zone for moduli stabilization
