Resumen:

Los cambios microestructurales y de la microdureza, que tienen influencia en la vida de la unión en la soldadura, fueron investigados por medio de observaciones de las microestructuras de cinco aleaciones libres de Pb: Sn puro, Sn-3.5%Ag, Sn-6%Ag, Sn-0.7%Cu, Sn-3.5%Ag-0.9%Cu además de la aleación eutéctica Sn-37%Pb para su comparación. Las muestras se envejecieron a 100ºC hasta 1000hs. Se utilizó microscopía óptica (OM) y electrónica de barrido (SEM) para estudiar la microestructura de las muestras. Estas se evaluaron en función de la composición química y del envejecido. Los cambios en la microdureza se relacionaron con los cambios microestructurales

Abstract:

Microstructural and microhardness change, wich strongly influence the life of soldered joints, were investigated by microstructure observations for five promising alloys as Pb free solder: pure Sn, Sn-3.5%Ag, Sn-6%Ag, Sn-0.7%Cu, Sn-3.5%Ag-0.9%Cu and Sn-37%Pb for comparison. These specimens were aged at 100ºC (373ºK) during 1000h. The microstructural change was observed by Optical Microscopy (OM) and Scanning Electron Micrograph (SEM) and was evaluated as a function of chemical composition and age-softening
