Resumen:

Sobre la base de los modelos teóricos, desarrollados en la literatura, para predecir las distintas regiones estructurales que se esperan encontrar durante la solidificación de aleaciones de sistemas eutécticos ternarios simples, se analizaron las microestructuras de muestras obtenidas experimentalmente, correspondientes a aleaciones de los sistemas AlCuSi y AlAgCu. Los resultados obtenidos son consistentes con las predicciones de los modelos. En el caso del sistema AlCuSi se obtuvo un eutéctico ternario formado por las fases α-Al, Al₂Cu y Si y en el sistema AlAgCu el eutéctico ternario está formado por Al₂Cu y dendritas de dos fases α-Al y Ag₂Al

Abstract:

Microstructures of AlCuSi and AlAgCu alloys, experimentally obtained by fluidity tests, were analyzed in order to predict the different structural regions expected to be found during solidification of simple ternary eutectic system alloys. The analysis was based on the theoretical models developed in the literature. The results obtained were consistent with model predictions. In the case of AlCuSi system, the ternary eutectic was formed by α-Al, Al₂Cu and Si phases, in AlAgCu system the ternary eutectic have a semiregular structure formed by Al₂ Cu and two phase dendrites between α-Al and Ag₂Al
