The lower threshold of motion (LTM) has been investigated as a function of time of adaptation to a glare source. A two alternative forced choice paradigm using the method of constant stimuli was adopted to measure the threshold of temporal frequency for different delays between glare source onset and stimulus presentation. The experiment was also carried out with steady presentations of glare. Results show that the LTM reaches its highest value immediately onset the glare source and then decreases towards the value obtained in steady conditions
