En este trabajo presentamos secciones eficaces diferenciales en el ángulo del fotón dispersado para el proceso de doble ionización por efecto Compton. Empleamos en los cálculos dos formas alternativas del operador A², denominadas de longitud y velocidad. Estas dos formas dan resultados similares para el caso de alta energía transferida. Comparamos los resultados con los obtenidos empleando la aproximación impulsiva y la teoría de perturbaciones. Se presenta un cálculo exacto para el perfil Compton de doble ionización.
In this work we present cross sections differential in the angle of the scattered photon for the process of double ionization by Compton scattering. We employ in our calculations two alternative forms of the A² operator, called the length and the velocity forms. These two forms give similar results for the case of high energy transferred. We compare these results with those obtained using the impulse approximation and the many-body perturbation theory. We present an exact calculation for the double ionization Compton profile.
