De Broglie's oscillatoty model of the electron -generally ignored in Courses on Modern Physics- is analyzed in this work. With it, it is possible to visualized the frecuencies measured by different observers and the socalled phase velocity. The non relativistic limit of Hamilton-Jacobi's theory for a free electron and for the eIectron subjected to a central potencial is also discussed. Results are compared with those obtained by other authors
