Resumen:

Los objetivos generales del presente trabajo son los de estudiar el comportamiento de los parámetros térmicos (velocidades de enfriamiento, gradientes de temperatura y velocidades y aceleraciones de las interfases), analizando las estructuras de las probetas obtenidas a fin de relacionarlos con las propiedades de las aleaciones Zn-8%Al y Zn-16%Al (porcentaje en peso) cuando son solidificadas en forma unidireccional horizontal mediante la extracción calórica en dos sentidos opuestos. Además, se determinan los números de Niyama en estas aleaciones, los cuales están relacionados con la macroporosidad, existiendo números críticos a partir de los cuales la macroporosidad en las probetas es evidente

Abstract:

In this paper we study the behavior of thermal parameters (cooling rates, temperature gradients and velocities and accelerations of the interphases), analyzing the obtained structures in the samples in order to relate the properties of the alloys Zn-8% Al and Zn -16%Al (weight percent) when they are solidified in a horizontal device by extracting heat in two opposite directions. In addition, determining the Niyama numbers in these alloys, which are related to the macroporosity, there critical numbers from which the macroporosity in the samples is evident
